| One of our farthest traveling coaches, Matt came to us all the way from San Diego State University , where he is a catcher and a first baseman. Having also played with the San Diego Hawks travel team, Matt hopes to get drafted during his junior year and begin working his way to the majors. He is well on his way, having previously won a Gold Glove Award for a perfect defensive season and being named All Academic, Second Team by the San Diego Union Tribune . |
