Camp Feedback

We make it a priority to ensure that all children, above all else, have fun at Bases Loaded Camps. While we give great instruction, we want all our campers to enjoy themselves at the same time. After all, if you can't have fun being outside playing baseball, when can you?!

Here is a sampling of some feedback we have received from parents of our previous players.

What did you/your child feel was the greatest part of our camp?

•  “Learning techniques not taught at other camps.”
•  “[The kids feeling like they were] playing real championship games.”
•  “Helpfulness of the staff and good coaching.”
•  “Energy and positivity of coaches; working with players of varying skill levels.”
•  “Ending each day by using their newly learned skills in an actual game.”
•  “Learning new skills.”
•  “Bunting.”
•  “Batting and fielding.”
•  “Home run derby.”
•  “Playing scrimmages.”
•  “Making new friends.”
•  “All of it!”
•  “[My son] said the greatest part of camp was that everyone got to catch and hit. Coaches gave a lot of positive reinforcement!”

Based on your child's experience, how knowledgeable do you feel the instructors were?

•  “The instructors were quite experienced and were able to clearly explain the techniques.”
•  “[My son] learned a lot.”
•  “Excellent coaching!”
•  “I saw them go step by step at each instructional station. If the kids didn't seem to get it, they went back over it and explained/demonstrated in a different way. The coaches seemed determined that each child would succeed.”

Based on your child's (and your) experience, how well do you feel the camp was organized and structured?

•  “They had plenty of good help and starting off with stretches and exercise was a plus.”
•  “I would give all the coaches kudos for their enthusiasm and positivity with the kids!”
•  “The coaches were great and attentive to the players.”

How much did your child enjoy the camp?

•  “More than you know. He was ‘forced' to go to baseball camp, and he thought he'd hate it, but he ended up loving it. He was afraid he was going to be embarrassed because he's not very good, but you helped him feel comfortable and not self conscious. Thanks!”
•  “[Our son] enjoyed every second!”
•  “They loved being outside, meeting friends, and playing a game they loved to play.”

How well did the camp prioritize safety?

•  “They made sure kids were not swinging bats when not playing or told to.”
•  “Very well. There were no injuries the entire week!”
•  “I appreciated the fact that kids were accompanied over to bathroom facilities.”

Any other feedback?

•  “There is nothing that they could improve. They were knowledgeable , articulate, and treated [our son] with respect. If there are any other programs that these young men will be teaching I would like to be informed.”
•  “One of the best camps ever!”
•  “You do a great job of allowing boys of all skill levels to ‘shine', and I'm grateful for that. He wants to go again!”
•  “[My son] had a great time – he LOVED IT! ”
•  “The boys really enjoyed the camp and I hope they'll do it again!”
•  “Looking forward to it next year!”
•  “Great camp!”
•  “[My son] would definitely return. He loved it.”
•  “[My son] had an ‘awesome time'.”
•  “Would a spring camp be possible?”
• “The award at the end is a great gesture. [My son] felt he accomplished something.”
